Samuel Clarkson

Samuel is a General Psychologist and has an interest in working with Children, Adolescents and Young Adults and is passionate about assisting with challenges such as Autism, Depression, Anxiety, Anger issues and behaviour management. Where appropriate, Samuel is able to provide evidence-based therapy activities with the assistance of his therapy dogs, Willow & Ocean.

Charlie Hanley

Charlie is a Therapy Dog who is owned and handled by Callum. Charlie is a wriggly rescue pup who loves to play with toys and do zoomies. Charlie works with Callum on Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays. 

Callum Hanley

Callum is a Generally Registered Psychologist with a  passion for assisting young people with social and emotional difficulties to live a full life. Callum is experienced with Neurodivergence, and  is working with his young rescue dog Charlie who is a learner Therapy Dog, trained & assessed through Therapy Dogs Australia.

Alana Manning

Alana is a Generally Registered Psychologist. She enjoys being able to assist and support children, young people and adults to achieve their goals and improve the quality of their lives. Alana has experience working within a number of different areas including occupational rehabilitation, Workcover, Department of Veteran Affairs and disability. Alana understands the difficulties that pose adults throughout life and how these difficulties influence and affect children. has an interest in art with numerous qualifications and a passion for all kinds of animals. Alana is available to take on clients who are aged 7 years and older. 


Alana is currently training her Spoodle, Mochi, to be a Therapy Dog. He is at the clinic regularly and keeps us all entertained with his vibrant personality and mischief!

Speech & Language Pathologist

Walter Davolio

Walter is an Old English Sheepdog who is a big gentle boof. Walter absolutely loves children and is always happy for a pat and play. Walter is professionally trained and assessed by Therapy Dogs Australia. Walter is sitting with his little sister who is training to also be a Therapy Dog one day! 

Nicole Davolio

Nicole is an experienced Speech Pathologist who has worked in a variety of paediatric settings including early intervention for hearing loss, general community based services, and the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

Nicole is passionate about empowering parents, carers and young people and is very experienced in using parent coaching models in therapy. Nicole loves working with families to support them to support their child’s communication potential.

Nicole has additional training in a variety of speech pathology and therapeutic programs including: Listening and Spoken Language Certified Specialist AVT (for children with hearing loss)Hanen: It Takes Two To Talk Hanen: More than wordsThe Lidcombe Program (stuttering treatment for young children)Talking MatsTrust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)

Counsellors & Alternative Therapy

Demi Marino - Counsellor, Art & Play Therapist

Demi is a qualified mental health professional with a Master of Mental Health in Art Therapy from the University of Queensland, and additional certification in Play Therapy from the Queensland Institute of Play Therapy. With a passion for supporting children, Demi specializes in helping them build a strong sense of self and work through challenges they may be facing. Drawing on experience with neurodiversity, complex trauma, and disabilities, Demi creates a safe space and is compassionate, and patient in supporting children to explore their emotions and develop coping skills. Driven by curiosity and empathy, Demi is dedicated to making a positive impact on the well-being of every child. 


Demi is available on Thursday's & Saturday mornings and is able to work with young children and adolescents. 

Demi is registered with PACFA and is able to see NDIS participants (self or plan managed only).

Sonny Banana

Sonny Banana is the dog who kick-started the PAAW (and Therapy Dogs Australia) journey, and while he passed in 2024 (at 13 years old) we remember his legacy and thank him every day for his 11.5 years of flawless service to the community as a Therapy Dog. 

Nala

Nala is a yellow Labrador Retriever with a big personality and love of belly rubs! Her favourite hobby is swimming! 

Nala works with Sam. 

Oliver

Willow

Oliver is a wheaten Border Collie. He is a very affectionate & soft natured dog. He enjoys following our chickens around, sleeping in gardens and belly rubs. Oliver works with Sam.

Willow is an English Spaniel with a vest for life as big as her ears. She loves relentlessly squeaking toys and mischief. Willow works with Samuel

Ocean

Ocean is also a 'bitsa' who was found wandering along the beach (hence the name). She was currently in foster care and available for adoption so Samuel took her in. Ocean is a very active dog who loves to play and run around. Ocean works with Samuel.  

Charlie

Charlie is a 'bitsa' who came from an animal rescue. We don't know her history but we know that she LOVES to play and cuddle. Charlie works with Callum.

Ruby is a 6yo miniature pony. She has a lot of attitude and loves to play.

Thunderstorm is a 4yo Brumby gelding. He is Winter's son and was born in domestication 2 months after Winter came along. Thunderstorm is a happy and outgoing little guy.

Dingo is a 5yo Brumby gelding who came from the Tuan/Toolara forestry. He is a gentle giant, Sam has nicknamed him 'Brumbydor' because he is the most Labrador brumby that she has ever met!

Winter is a 15yo brumby mare, she was trapped at 11yo in the Canarvan ranges. She was the lead mare in the wild, and she is the lead mare in our herd too. She has really taken to domestic life, she absolutely loves people, especially kids.

Sumer is a 5yo brumby filly from the Tuan/Toolara forestry. She started out as quite standoffish but she has quickly learned that humans are super useful for giving the best scratches. She is a real sweetie.

Fern is a 5/6yo Brumby from the Tuan/Toolara Forestry and is a client favourite due to her sweet and reserved nature.

Power

Power is a retired race-horse, at 25yo he is a very gentle giant, definitely slowing down and enjoying his retirement! All of our equine team work with Sam at her Upper Caboolture property. 

The Goats

At the farm clinic - we have Rocket, Comet, Venus & Milk Way who are our miniature/dwarf goats! The love snack like weet-bix and arrowroot biscuits! 

The Chickens

At the farm clinic - we have a growing flock of roosters and hens, of various ages, who are free ranging throughout the day, getting in to all sort of mischief while they're at it.
