Psychology & Animal Assisted Wellbeing (P.A.A.W.) is a multi-disciplinary Practice, where the clinicians work with professionally trained and assessed therapy dogs, providing evidence-based and best practice therapies with the involvement of canines where clinically warranted.
Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is where an appropriately trained animal is able to assist the therapeutic process, where the clinician is providing evidence-based therapeutic modalities (counselling, IPT, CBT etc.) within the scope of their field of training.
We work with clients from ages 4 years to older adult, with a range of presenting issues.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
All of our psychologists are experienced and enjoy working with Neurodiversity in children, teens & adults.
We are able to accept self-managed & plan-managed NDIS referrals. Unfortunately we are not able to accept NDIA managed NDIS clients.
We run kids groups all term, every term!
Therapy dogs co-facilitate all of our groups.
